During “new business” at membership meetings, members may bring forward motions. The motion will be read and the text of the motion will be shared with member meeting attendees. No discussion, debate or vote on the motion will happen at this meeting.
Prior to the next member meeting, weekly SPFE emails will include a section about the new motion with the following information: topic of the motion with a link to the full text of the motion. Questions about the motion should be directed to the SPFE Executive Board at: executiveboard@spfe28.org
The motion will then be debated and voted on at the next regularly scheduled membership meeting. Only SPFE members are permitted to debate and vote on motions.
