Scholarships

The SPFE Scholarship Trust Committee offers multiple financial support to qualified senior high school students. These scholarships are open to students whose parent or guardian – living or deceased – is or was a member of the Saint Paul Federation of Educators on or before September 1 of the current school year. The Local 28 Scholarship is available to students who are planning on entering an accredited post-secondary school, technical school, or college. These awards are presented in the spring.

Additionally, The AFL-CIO offers scholarships to students who have at least a 2.8 GPA and are planning on entering an accredited post-secondary school or college. Students are eligible to receive either the Local #28 Scholarship or Dollars for Scholars, but not both.

SPFE Scholarship applications are available by contacting Jeannie Farrell at receptionist@spfe28.org.
