2026 SPFE Local 28 Scholarship:

The SPFE Scholarship Trust Committee offers multiple scholarships to qualified senior high school students. These scholarships are open to students whose parent or guardian – living or deceased – is or was a member of the Saint Paul Federation of Educators on or before September 1, 2023. The Local 28 Scholarship is available to students who are planning on entering an accredited post-secondary school, technical school, or college. SPFE Scholarships will be awarded this spring of 2026. Scholarship applications will be available January 2026. Check your weekly SPFE steward email for updates. Contact Jeannie Farrell at jeannie@spfe28.org to request an application.

Additionally, The AFL-CIO offers scholarships to students who have at least a 2.8 GPA and are planning on entering an accredited post-secondary school or college. Students are eligible to receive either the Local #28 Scholarship or Dollars for Scholars, but not both.
